Ike storm surge closes U.S. 98 on Okaloosa Island

  Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputies report that all four lanes of U.S. Highway 98 on Okaloosa Island are now closed because of the storm surge from Hurricane Ike. Both eastbound and westbound lanes are shut down until further notice.
