The forecast, based on the northwest satellite spot, was issued Wednesday around 5 p.m. NOAA utilizes satelite imagery, along with current and tide information, to determine the forecast.
The lates forecast does show a westward trajectory for the oil, but nothing close to Navarre Beach through Saturday.
