In a notable rarity, both Tyler Albin and Audrey Thomas threw no-hitters for Navarre High School on April 6 at Navarre.
Thomas, a freshman, shut down Pensacola Catholic hitters, leading the Lady Raiders softball team to a five-inning, 10-0 mercy-rule win over the Crusaders.
Less than 100 yards away at the Navarre High baseball field, Albin was throwing a no-hitter of his own, silencing the Pine Forest bats and leading his Raiders team to a 6-0 win over the Eagles.
The Lady Raiders varsity softball team plays at Pensacola Washington at 6 p.m. on Thursday and at home against Pace at 7 p.m.
The Raiders baseball team plays at home on Thursday and Friday against Escambia and Milton, respectively. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.
