SUV clips car, careens into woods on SR 87 on Saturday

On Saturday, between 9-10 a.m.., on SR 87about halfway between Yellow River Bridge and Holley, a northbound SUV, attempting to pass two vehicles, clipped the rear of the first vehicle and careened into the woods, striking several trees and overturning.

 

Miraculously, the driver--as yet unnamed and the SUV's sole occupant--suffered only minor injuries and was transported to Gulf Breeze Hospital.

Three days before the April 3 accident, a fatal accident occurred on the same stretch of road, just a few miles north.
