Injury prevention course


The Andrews Institute will hold a free weightlifting injury prevention course for adolescent and high school athletes June 24.

 

The course is designed to provide education on injury prevention related to weightlifting activities. Topics will include common injures when lifting improperly and the benefits of proper weight training. High school and adolescent-aged athletes, parents, coaches, athletic trainers and physical therapists are encouraged to attend.

1020 Gulf Breeze Parkway, on the Andrews Institute Campus

WHO:          
For high school and adolescent-aged athletes, parents, coaches, athletic trainers and physical therapists.  
Faculty will provide hands-on instruction teaching proper weightlifting techniques. Participants should be prepared to exercise and dress in athletic clothing.

COST:                  
Free.  Limited to 50 students.
