"Bike Lady" dies in crash

Elizabeth Dawn Allmon, 51, commonly known as the “Bike Lady,” was struck and killed while riding her bike along U.S. Highway 98. Monica Rothrock, 43, of Navarre, was driving westbound when she allowed her Ford Focus to drift across the white line, according to a Florida Highway Patrol press release. Charges are pending an investigation.
