Multiple Accidents on Interstate 10

There has been multiple accidents on Interstate 10 at on Escambia Bay Bridge near mile marker 17. The first accident involved an 18 wheeler and 4 vehicles. This accident has closed the east and west lanes of I10.  The 18 wheeler is on fire and was carrying oyster shells. The bridge westbound from Santa Rosa County towards the scene of the crash closed by Santa Rosa County deputies.  

 

The second accident occurred thirty minutes later in the westbound lane with 2-3 vehicles. 

 Expect very long delays, drivers should avoid I10 in the surrounding areas and take alternate routes.
