A near-dusk water main break Memorial Day caused a “boil directive” to go into effect early May 26.
The directive, issued by the Midway Water Department, included the area of Woodlawn Beach Middle School. As a result, school administrators turned the water off and began passing out bottles of water to its students and faculty.
