The family and friends of Bartholomew  "Bart"  Robert Cole are invited to a celebration of his life beginning at 4 p.m. Monday, May 11, at 1651 Champagne Ave., Gulf Breeze.

Bartholomew Robert Cole, 25, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009.

 

Bart was born in Detroit, Mich., on March 19, 1984 to Dawn Davis and the late Christopher Cole. He had resided in Gulf Breeze, Fla. since 2005. After moving to Florida in 2004, he met Jennifer and the two were married July 12, 2006.

 

Bart worked at Winn Dixie in Navarre as an assistant grocery manager. He was an avid fan of all Michigan sports teams, especially the Detroit Red Wings. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and having a good time.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer, mother Dawn and stepfather Doug, twin brother Alex (Amber), sisters Elizabeth and Patricia, father- and mother-in-law Michael and Diana Newman, sisters-in-law Kimberly and Jamie (Zach), and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bart’s name at any Bank of America branch.
