Funeral procession may cause traffic delays

 

Officials expect more than 2,200 vehicles to join the funeral procession bearing the body of slain Okaloosa County Sheriff's Deputy Warren "Skip" York from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fort Walton Beach to Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola Frday. A service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's, followed by the trip west on U.S. Highway 98.

 

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays, according to Santa Rosa County Public Information Officer Joy Tsubooka.
