The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a bank robbery that took place around 2:15 p.m. Monday at First City Bank at 2090 West U.S. Highway 98 in Florosa.

       Investigators say a black male, about 5'6" tall, 150 pounds, in his mid-twenties, with dreadlocks came into the bank carrying a handgun. He demanded money and left the bank on foot, eastbound on Highway 98.      The subject was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a ball cap.      Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office at 850-651-7400 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850-863-TIPS.
