Seagrass Awareness event rescheduled

The Seagrass Awareness Celebration originally scheduled March 28 but canceled because of rain, has been rescheduled this Saturday, April 4.

 

The ninth-annual event is scheduled from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Shoreline Park South in Gulf Breeze.

Seagrass Awareness is an annual family-oriented event. This year, organizers plan an Easter-egg hunt at 10 a.m., live marine life touch tanks, fishing, seining, games, arts and crafts, kayaking, "eat a seagrass bed" and more.
