'Compliance Services' scam

The Florida Attorney General's Office has issued a consumer alert about callers identifying themselves as representing Compliance Services.

 

 

Callers for "Compliance Services" have been reported soliciting new Florida corporations implying that they must send corporate minutes and $125 to a Tallahassee address for filing. According to the Attorney General's Office, there is no statutory authority for corporate minutes to be filed with any government entity.
