The Santa Rosa County Health Department reports that the two pertussis tests we conducted for close contacts of the infected student have returned with negative results from the Florida Department of Health’s state laboratory.

They will continue to await the results of the other four tests that were conducted by private health care providers, and will report these results as soon as they are made available.
