New signal to help fire trucks through traffic

The intersection of Pullum Street and Navarre Parkway will get a little safer for the Holley-Navarre Fire District.

Construction will begin soon on a new emergency signal that will stop traffic and allow for the seamless departure of a fire truck from Station 45.
“When we’re dispatched, it will be activated from the station,”  Acting Chief Ron Norton said.  “I should stop traffic and allow us access to 98 without too much trouble.”
