Church breaks ground on new life center

A vision seven years in the making became a reality last month as the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church broke ground for its Christian Life Center.

On Sunday, July 13, Pastor Steve Marko, several members of the congregation and construction team gathered on the site of the church’s old fellowship hall to celebrate the milestone.

“It was an exciting and inspirational event,” Marko said. “Our focus has not been on building, but on the mission and ministry. I think that’s what kept the attention of the project in focus over the past seven years.”

Located at 363 Miracle Strip Parkway, the church was built in 1963 after organizing in 1960. Since then, the church has grown into a 600 congregant ministry, with community outreach programs, vacation bible school, and youth and adult programs.

“We also provide meeting space for over 12 support groups and non-profit community agencies,” Marko said.
