The Zoo Northwest Florida will be hosting two public town hall meetings,
the first at 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 in the Student Center at the Pensacola Junior College Milton campus; the second at 6 p.m. Aug. 21 in the Boma Pavilion at The ZOO.The meetings will be held to provide a comprehensive update on the ongoing efforts to financially stabilize and renovate The ZOO and present the plan for developing The ZOO into a nationally-recognized regional attraction. Marty Stanovich, anchor with News Radio 1620 AM, will moderate the event.“It’s important that the public understand the efforts we’ve made so far and that there’s a thorough five-year plan in place to bring The ZOO out of debt,” said executive director Danyelle Lantz. “We want to present the information in an open forum, where the public will be allowed to comment, ask questions and hopefully choose to stand behind The ZOO’s efforts.”By PDGOO goopaydayloans
