Election districts public forum

The Legislative Created Committee wants your input for the process of  changing voting districts before the 2012 elections.  Voters in 2010  approved two Constitutional Amendments setting new standards for the  reapportionment process which follows each U.S. Census.  The purpose is  to increase fairness in the election of government officials at the  local, county, state and national levels.

 The public hearing will be held from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on June 21 at  WSRE-TV Amos Studio in Pensacola.
