Temporary road closure on SR87

Weather permitting; Monday, June 13 - 17, there will be intermittent lane closures on State Road (SR) 87 between Dean Creek and Bob Tolbert Road.

Traffic will be restricted to one- lane from 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. as crews from Anderson Columbia continue installation of cross drain pipes at various locations. Variable Message Boards (VBS’s) are being used to alert the public. 

 FDOT urges motorists of all ages to drive safely in work zones by following these safety tips: be alert, don’t tailgate, don’t speed, don’t change lanes in the work zone, minimize distractions, and keep an eye out for workers and their equipment
