Bay Bridge construction set

As of April 18 through April 21 westbound lanes on the Pensacola Bay Bridge will be reduced between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as Pneumatic Concrete Company, Inc. of Birmingham, Ala., repair joints.

This work is part of the $3 million Pensacola Bay Bridge repair and rehabilitation project.

To decrease traffic congestion, work which will require lane closures will take place at night. There will be no eastbound lane closures between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and westbound between 6:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to obey the posted speed limit, watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the work zone and to keep a safe distance between your vehicle and those traveling in front of you.
