TPO asks public for input
Residents can learn about the transportation planning process and help rank project priorities for the coming budget year at meetings this week in Milton and Pensacola.
Planners for the Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization, which includes Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Florida and part of Lillian, Ala., are seeking public input for the draft 2010-2011 Transportation Project Priorities list. They will host meetings at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium, 4350 Spikes Way in Milton and at 5:30 p.m. July 29 at the Southwest Branch Library, 12248 Gulf Beach Highway in Pensacola.
Planners with the West Florida Regional Planning Council, which serves the Florida-Alabama TPO and three other Northwest Florida TPOs, will provide copies of the draft, answer questions and provide residents cards with a list of projects and blanks to rank them.
