Last day of school for SRC is June 9

The last day of school for Santa Rosa County students is June 9. 

The district had previously reported that June 10 would be the last day. 

In February, Santa Rosa County schools closed for severe weather.  Typically, the protocol for closings requires schools to make-up weather days.  Recently, the district decided no make-up day was necessary.

According to the district's website, schools will close early June 9.  They advise parents to contact schools directly to find out what time students will be released.
