“I was pleased with the desire and attitude shown by the players and feel we have the makings of a pretty good, but rather young team,” she said.
Pardue hated turning away some girls, but each team – freshman, junior varsity and varsity – only has 12 members.
“It is always tough when you have to turn away as many as 14 players, but I’m hoping that many will consider becoming managers for our three teams,” she said. “They play a pretty important role and can also earn letters.”
