A new deputy superintendent blew into town the same week Tropical Storm Debby came ashore.
“The first week I arrived, they welcomed me with Tropical Storm Debby,” said Steve McCoy.
McCoy assumed the position of deputy superintendent for the Gulf Islands National Seashore on June 18, replacing Nina Kelson. McCoy stood out among over 30 applicants, said Superintendent Dan Brown.
