Panhandle Animal Welfare Society will be expanding their existing adoption cat trailer to create more “feline friendly” housing for the adoptable cats.
The goal is to provide living spaces that will maximize quality of life, minimize stress and increase the number of successful adoptions. PAWS is beginning a fundraising campaign to raise $20,000 to purchase a new double wide trailer/modular building to use as the adoption cat house.
The trailer PAWS currently leases is not only in need of repairs, but the cats are in need of a larger building as is PAWS so that more cats and kittens can be saved. The new “cat house” would double the space to 1,440 square feet.
