The Santa Rosa County Animal Services will host the seventh annual adopt-a-thon on April 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Milton shelter located at 4451 Pine Forest Road.
Kennel Supervisor Dora Thomason said they wanted to reach out into the community.
“We just wanted to reach out into the community and offer some fun family experiences and opportunities to increase pet adoption,” said Thomason. “What better way is there than with fun and food and hopefully take a pet home that day?”
