The Navarre St. Francis Pet Store held an adoption event on Feb. 12 that was so successful, they’ve decided to try and find forever homes for a few more of the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society’s pets.
The next event is set to take place March 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Last time there were about 15 dogs that attended the event and six were adopted, according to Catherine Mann, USA Today bestselling author and PAWS volunteer. Overall there are 70 dogs and 61 cats available for adoption at PAWS, according to Tricia Bryant, PAWS director of Humane Services.
