Navarre resident and USA Today bestseller Catherine Mann has fostered more than 40 dogs and puppies since she started volunteering at the Fort Walton Beach Panhandle Animal Welfare Society a little more than two years ago.
Mann became aware of the needs of the Humane Society when her oldest son had volunteered at a Humane Society in Ohio for his confirmation project so she suggested it to her youngest son when he needed a service project for confirmation.
