Gaetz, LeMieux team up for town hall meeting

State Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fort Walton Beach, and U.S. Senator candidate George LeMieux teamed up on June 5 and held a town hall meeting to discuss state and federal issues with people in Navarre.

Gaetz said LeMieux had made it his goal to visit every county in Florida to get an idea of what issues are concerning residents.

“Generally in Florida, things are going well, things are on the right track,” Gaetz said. He added that Florida had created 130,000 private-sector jobs and cut 4,100 burdensome regulations to make for a more “robust economy.”
