Hurlburt Field Open House cancelled due to weather

The Hurlburt Field Open House, scheduled for April 21, has been cancelled due to thunderstorms projected for Saturday. Lightning would create an unacceptable safety concern for visitors attending the event on the Hurlburt Field flightline.

Although the event has been cancelled for the weekend, base officials are working to determine a future date to reschedule the open house. More information will be made available when the determination is made.

Hurlburt bridge receives funding

For Senior Airman Joe McFadden, the last three years of his life have been full of rich experiences and life changing events. He arrived at Hurlburt Field in Sept. 2009 and since then has been recognized as Airman of the Quarter three times.
