Homefront Hugs helps soldiers

Homefront Hugs is making Christmas a time for celebration for soldiers overseas and families waiting at home.

Alessandra Kellermann, of Gulf Breeze, and her son, Ed, 9, began working to bring soldiers and their families comfort after Sept. 11. Homefront Hugs USA is a nonprofit organization with more than 1,200 volunteers all over the country.
The organization gives service members and their families a morale boost that comes from receiving a personally addressed package and a note of appreciation and support.
