Airman starts run for a cause overseas

Though it’s not specified in the Air Force Code of Enlistment, looking after and caring for fellow airmen is a high priority.

On Friday, Oct. 28, Andersen, along with the help of his first sergeant, carried out the first Senior Airman Yelner Memorial Run at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, where he’s been deployed since March. His normal duty station is Hurlburt Field.
