Military branches train together at Whiting

Instructor Navy Lt. Jackie Felber assists USMC 1 Lt. J.P. Inabinet in examining the helicopter as part of their pre-flight checklist.

NAS Whiting Field in Milton has a very unique mission within the military and is home to the only rotor wing training program in the nation. Student pilots for the Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine Corp and those from several partner countries all begin their helicopter flying careers on the Emerald Coast.
