For Senior Airman Joe McFadden, the last three years of his life have been full of rich experiences and life changing events. He arrived at Hurlburt Field in Sept. 2009 and since then has been recognized as Airman of the Quarter three times.
On Feb, 24, 2011, McFadden was named Hurlburt’s Airman of the Year as well as 1st Special Operations Wing Airman of the Year.
