Hurlburt airman climbs Mt. Rainier for retirees

SSgt BrockStaff Sgt. William Brock of the 11th Intel Squadron at Hurlburt Field, recently climbed Mt. Rainier in Washington, and raised $732 for the Air Force Enlisted Village.

The Air Force Enlisted Village is a non-profit organization that provides a home for surviving spouses of our former military heroes and to mothers of current active duty and retired military members. AFEV’s purpose is to give these Air Force family members a safe, secure home and to treat them with the dignity and respect we reserve for our own moms. The Air Force Enlisted Village is comprised of two active, independent living communities—Bob Hope Village in Shalimar and Teresa Village in Fort Walton Beach, and an assisted living community, Hawthorn House, located at Bob Hope Village.
