Troy Yocum, Iraq war veteran, has been hiking across America since last April to raise money for, and awareness of, military families in need.
Yocum said he first realized there was a problem when a friend emailed him for help after the company he worked for laid people off while Yocum was still in Iraq.Yocum knew he wasn’t in a position to help so he started calling charities and organizations to see who could.
