Not many average adults know of an ancient lighthouse called Pharos of Alexandria, or where it’s located.
But Matt Preston does.
“Egypt,” Preston’s large brown eyes smiled behind his glasses.
The West Navarre Intermediate School fourth-grade student recently took top honors at the school’s inaugural GeoBee Monday. Preston was one of 10 competitors, 13 in all, who vied for the number one spot.
