Fire damages home in Pace

A residential fire on Dec. 13 in Pace is believed to have been caused by a faulty chimney flue.
Santa Rosa County Emergency Communications reported receiving a call from a resident of the home on Milligan Ford Road at 8:49 p.m. Crews arrived on scene at 8:58 p.m. Fire departments from Pace, Avalon, Allentown, Cantonment and Ferry Pass ultimately responded to the fire that displaced a family of four. There were no injuries reported and the residents are staying with family and friends.
