Artful adaptations

On any given Monday, Susan Mayer can be found shopping.

However, you won’t find this Gulf Breeze resident perusing shops in a mall. Instead,  Mayer packs up her portable buggy and heads to the local junkyard.

“I load up my cart up with anything from discarded pieces of wood to rusted metal,” Mayer said.
