Mary Ruth Depew Sivert, age 86, of Navarre, passed away peacefully on Sept. 19, 2008, at Gulf Breeze Hospital.  Mary was born on July 13, 1922 to Dr. Orville and Gladys Depew in Kingsport, Tenn.  She raised her family and lived most of her life in Memphis, Tenn., before retiring to Florida a few years ago.  She was a loving mother and always placed her family first.  Mary enjoyed traveling, reading and listening to music.  She loved life and experienced it to the fullest.Mary is survived by her son, Mike Sivert and his wife, Claudette, of Rogersville, Tenn.; daughters, Carol Foshee and husband, David, of Bartlett, Tenn.; Sharon Ingram and husband, Steve, of Santa Rosa Beach; and Mary Sivert and husband, Freeman Clark, of Navarre; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nephews, Robert Duncan of Higden, Ark., and Dr. Orville Duncan of Knoxville, Tenn.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward Orville Depew; and sister, Zenda Mae Duncan.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 22 at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 480 N. County Hwy 393, Santa Rosa Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Gulf Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Mary’s memory.
