Hundred's visit chamber's health fair

Hundreds of visitors cycled through the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s eighth annual health fair Saturday, Jan. 17, at Navarre High School.

1_22_healthfair_text.jpg“According to our official human door counter, we had close to 675 people in attendance,”  chamber President/CEO Tracey Terry told Navarre Press via e-mail.  “Many vendors commented on the fact that they enjoyed the interaction with each other as well as the public.”

More than 50 vendors set up booths in the school’s cafeterias and several displays and activities covered the lawn in front of the school.

A LifeFlight helicopter made a special landing in front of the school beside Holley-Navarre Fire Department’s fire trucks and an American Red Cross bloodmobile.

“Everything went wonderfully,”  Terry said.  “We were blessed to have so many visitors come out and we’re hoping that every year we can fine-tune logistics with what people want and keep adding (to the event).”
