Exactly one year ago, Juli Elkins of Mary Esther was lying in a hospital bed with heart failure.
The extra weight she had been carrying around her whole life was literally killing her, and her doctor’s prognosis was not good. Today, she has lost 127 pounds, and her doctor is amazed at her full recovery.
“I feel better than I can ever remember,” she said. “I’m 39 and I feel better than I did when I was 16. I’m thinner now than I was at 16.”
