Santa Rosa confirms two West Nile cases

Santa Rosa County Health Department officials have reported two cases of West Nile virus in the county.
The infected resident is receiving treatment and recovering, said Mary Beverly, epidemiologist with the SRC health department.
Because of patient privacy laws, she could not disclose the location of the patients with West Nile. However, Gulf Breeze News contributing writer Noah Belew confirmed in the publication that his wife Annie was being treated for West Nile at Gulf Breeze Hospital.
