Energy drinks such as RockStar and Monster may give children get-up-and-go, but they also pack some harmful side effects: they can strip the enamel off of teeth.
A new report in the May/June 2012 issue of “General Dentistry” found that the acidity of popular energy drinks can be especially harmful to human teeth. An increase in consumption of the popular drinks, particularly among young people, has led to an increase in tooth decay.
