Workshop to discuss weight-loss surgery options

For those contemplating weight-loss surgery, Baptist Health Care will have a workshop today to answer questions about the various procedures.

Dr. Jeffrey Friedman, a bariatric doctor at Baptist Health Care, will be conducting the seminar that begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Medical Meetings Room, 1000 West Moreno St., Pensacola.

“It’s a free information session,”  Friedman said.  “I’ll talk about obesity, health problems related to obesity and surgical options.”
