Baptist Health Care displays i-Suite

Baptist Health Care announces the completion of the first of five new hybrid i-Suite operating rooms, the first in the region, designed to support minimally invasive surgeries.

Some of the key features of the new operating room includes: Larger rooms with ceiling mounted equipment to increase functionality and reduce items around the surgical table; latest high definition medical video system that allows for optimal surgical viewing during minimally invasive surgeries; integrated surgical environment capability to displays, saves and shares surgical  images; providing surgeons with timely important information that they can use to communicate with other physicians or experts while in the operating room. The new operating room suites are part of Baptist Hospital’s current $39 million construction project. The remaining four operating rooms are estimated to be complete by late 2011.
