Iron strong with diabetes

Andy Holder, also known as Iron Andy, became an Ironman triathlete only after he learned he had diabetes because he wanted to “live without limits.”Living day-to-day life as a diabetic is difficult in and of itself, so few would imagine pushing the limits so far as to become an Ironmen triathlete, but for Andy Holder, that was the only option.
At the age of 36, Holder was fit, healthy and an athlete. He ate right, exercised and was even becoming a body builder. But despite those choices, Holder was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2005.
