We all have Christmas wishes, but for some Emerald Coast families their wish is for a better life for those they love. Now the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) is in a position to play Santa with a new kidney exchange pilot program.
The Browns in Pensacola are wishing for a new kidney for their daughter. Kendra is 14 years old whose whole life has changed in the last year. She tires quickly and e-mailing teachers is now her high school life. The rest of her time is spent at dialysis -- four hours a day, three times a week.
