Clinic provides a hand up, not a hand out

Ten years ago, Fred Cornett and his wife Shirley set out to make a difference in their community.

One clinic, a clothing store and a network of services later, it’s safe to say they have.

Together, the Cornetts have been instrumental in facilitating a pool of resources under the umbrella of InterFaith Ministries, a network of churches dedicated to serving south Santa Rosa County.

Central to the group’s effort is the Good Samaritan Clinic, which Fred, a retired naval officer, oversees.
