Last fall, Wendy Williams got news she'd been waiting nearly a year to hear.
Following a PET scan, her doctor revealed there was no longer any evidence of cancer.
"I was very, very happy," she said. "Just overjoyed. It's been a tough road, but I would do it all again because I love my children and my family. I need to be here for them."
In November 2008, Williams was diagnosed with stage-one breast cancer. She had found a lump in her left breast and immediately sought her doctor. The conducted a biopsy and delivered the news shortly before Christmas.
